Frame Properties

The Frame Properties window can be accessed by right-clicking within a frame on a frames page and choosing Frame Properties.

Frame Properties Dialog box

• Name - The name of the frame allows you to create targeted links. Learn how to name a frame.
• Initial page - The initial page is the web page that first shows up when the frames page is loaded. Learn how to set an initial page, or learn how to change the initial page.
• Long Description - The long description is the URL of a page that describes the frames page. This is usually not necessary, although it is helpful for people who have disabilities and use a browser that does not support frames.
• Title - You may create a title for the frame here, which may be used by some browsers.
• Frame size - The size of the frame may be set. Learn how to resize a frame.
• Resizable in browser - This option allows you to set whether or not a user can resize a frame in the browser. Learn more.
• Frames Page button - Allows you to access a few more frames properties.
• Show scrollbars - Set if you want scrollbars to show up all the time, none of the time, or only when needed.
• Style - Access advanced formatting options for frames.
