Webinar | Build Your First SharePoint Framework Webpart

Happy April everyone! It’s that time again for the PixelMill Webinar Series next webinar! In this month’s webinar “Build Your First SharePoint Framework Webpart”, Eric Overfield, Co-founder of PixelMill, 2-time Microsoft MVP, and recently named Microsoft Regional Director, returns to our illustrious webinar series to take a look at the necessary steps to build a SharePoint Framework (#SPFx) based webpart. Excited? You know we are!
Attendees will get a look at the SharePoint Framework and its toolchain to build our first SPFx Webpart. We will review the toolchain, create a new Framework based project and create our own custom webpart with custom properties and interactions with SharePoint data. Attendees will walk away with the samples necessary to begin building their own webparts.
Why You Should Attend
Besides the fact that webinars are an excellent way to engage with fellow community members and industry thought leaders, this is a chance to expand your knowledge and find suitable solutions to webpart creation. Throughout the session, users will begin to understand the Framework Toolchain and basic requirements, as well as the code necessary to build sample and framework based webparts.
Audience
This is a fast-paced session highly suited for Developer and IT pros, but it is also recommended for those that are trying to delve deeper into SharePoint development. Although this is an introductory session for developers, an initial understanding of the framework will be helpful. And don’t worry –  while this session is an hour long it includes a 15-minute Q&A from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM PST.
So join us on April 27th at 11:00 AM to 12:15 AM PST and get your creation juices flowing!

What? Anchor links now work in #SharePoint site navigation! This fix snuck in and I completely missed it. Use them to create a TOC for long pages or cross link between pages. They work in text or quick links web parts & nav too! https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/create-and-use-modern-pages-on-a-sharepoint-site-b3d46deb-27a6-4b1e-87b8-df851e503dec#bkmk_pageanchors
