Eric received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of California, Davis. He has over 18 years of experience in Web Development, as well as 12 years of experience in SharePoint Branding, Architecture, and Design.
Recognized as a highly proactive SharePoint thought leader, organizer, and speaker, Eric is a Microsoft Regional Director and Microsoft MVP . He is well-known in the global SharePoint community as a lead contributor to the Responsive SharePoint CodePlex Project.
He is also the first author of "Pro SharePoint 2013 Branding and Responsive Web Development" and a co-author of "Black Magic Solutions for White Hat SharePoint". Currently, Eric is one of the leading experts in SharePoint Branding and Customization.
As Co-Founder of PixelMill, Greg uses his educational background in Economics to develop precise and strategic business plans to continue to grow our customer base and partnerships. His 30 years of Business Management experience has helped him in his role as PixelMill's Business Development Officer. Greg also oversees and mentors both the Marketing and Sales Departments. His industry background keeps our team at the forefront of the latest Design Trends and Web Technologies. Greg attended California State University, Sacramento and helped build one of the first Multiple Listing Systems for the Real Estate Industry.
With a Bachelor's degree in Communications from University of California at Davis, Danielle landed a career that fed her soul (both literally and figuratively) in marketing for grocer Nugget Markets. Danielle managed the marketing division and spearheaded the company's advertising campaigns, media purchasing, and website content creation. She also blazed completely new trails for Nugget Markets in the social media sphere and was part of the executive team responsible for a company-wide overhaul of internal communications that took communication from the company’s #1 opportunity to a strength. Danielle’s 10+ years of marketing and sales experience extend beyond the food industry with expertise from the utility industry including ISP, WISP, and electricity. Danielle’s passionate about using technology to cultivate and maintain a collaborative workplace that inspires innovation.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design and Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, Gilda understands the importance of meaningful design; she learned to design not only for aesthetic purposes but also for functionality. She also pursued her interest in technology, which began with her first coding in elementary school, and went on to complete nearly enough courses for a second degree in Computer Science. The combination of these disciplines and her experience being both a Designer and Developer, give her a unique perspective in Graphic Design, UI/UX, and Web Development. At PixelMill, Gilda oversees all internal project and programs, along with directing the delivery teams to create successful sites.
With a passion for acting and interacting with people, Michael started his professional career as a Casting Director for several companies in Northern California. During that time he realized his true love of helping those in the community reach their career aspirations. Michael channeled his positive and people-oriented personality and began working in Human Resources and Recruiting. As a Recruiter, Michael created several key programs that enabled more efficient hiring processes. Now Michael helps run many of PixelMill's social channels and Public Relation Events.
Heather has over 12 years of experience in Web Design and Development. In 2003, she became a contractor for PixelMill creating web templates for re-sale and then in 2006 for SharePoint. For the past seven years, she focused on SharePoint branding while working for an east coast consulting company. Heather has years of experience in developing SharePoint sites for large Government and Commercial clients, including Treasury, MHA, VAforVets, Dole, and Pepperidge Farms. She was also a contributing author to, "SharePoint 2010 Step-by-Step," and the Technical Editor for, "SharePoint 2013 and 2010 Branding and Design." Recently, she returned to PixelMill as a Pre-Sales Engineer. As a leader in SharePoint Branding, Heather's expertise allows her to guide our clients and partners comprehensively through each project phase. Heather offers great insight on how to design and develop a successful SharePoint site.
After graduating from the University of California, Davis with a B.A. in International Relations, Chloe joined the PixelMill team to lead digital communication efforts. She quickly became a SharePoint power user and developed a knowledge base in UX Research and UI Design. Later, Chloe spent a term working with the UC Davis Mondavi Center to complete the organization's website redesign.
Over the last three years, Chloe has expanded her expertise in numerous digital platforms, including SharePoint, Wordpress, and others. As an excellent written and verbal communicator, she excels at translating key business requirements into successful intranets, extranets, and public facing sites. In her Business Analyst role, she continues to bring her expertise in content management systems and software to our client and partner projects.
Carolyn has a broad range of experience in Real Estate, including Finance, Appraisal, and Sales. However, after years working in Real Estate, she began to pursue more digital ventures, including Online Marketing. Recognizing that site creation played a significant role in her marketing efforts, Carolyn quickly found herself emerged in the world of Web Design and Development. During her spare time, she started building websites and seeking a deeper level of coding knowledge. Carolyn's client-focused approach and self-taught technical abilities make her an invaluable asset to our team. Carolyn received her Bachelor of Arts in History with a Minor in Music from University of California, Santa Cruz.
Kunaal received his Associates Degree from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. With over seven years of Graphic Design experience, Kunaal has sharpened his skills in User Interface Design, Wireframing, Usability, and Typography. He has designed corporate websites, global intranets, and application interfaces. Kunaal's experience makes him not only a very talented SharePoint Designer but also provides invaluable knowledge in the Business Analysis process. In addition to leading UI/UX design at PixelMill, Kunaal also conducts stakeholder interviews, user surveys, and group discuss to understand current client obstacles and breakdown potential Design barriers.
Petya has a Bachelor of Science in Information Technologies and a Master of Science in Software Technologies from the University of Plovdiv, Bulgaria. She has over ten years of Software Development experience, including seven years with SharePoint. With expertise in Workflow Integration and SharePoint Customization, Petya has worked and led multiple SharePoint Development teams across a variety of industries. Currently, Petya not only develops but also guides and mentors team members in best practices with SharePoint Development.
Corrie began working at PixelMill as our Lead Web Designer after she received her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from University of California, Davis. Later, she published two books, "The Photoshop Anthology" and "Photoshop CS6 Unlocked" with SitePoint.com, and began work at a firm that specialized in bringing SharePoint to the Cloud. Corrie has also worked on a range of large SharePoint projects, including Recovery.gov, Treasury.gov, Dole, and Pepperidge Farm. Recently, with a desire to delve deeper into coding, Corrie returned to PixelMill as a Front-end Developer. She brings years of experience with Front-end Design, Web Development, and SharePoint Branding.
Amy received a Bachelor of Science in Communication Design from California State University, Monterey Bay. Through her schooling, she developed an in-depth understanding of modern Web Technologies, Development, and Design. Amy's experience across a wide array of concentrations allows her to understand Web Development from different perspectives. At PixelMill, Amy specializes in the implementation of custom SharePoint sites that enhance the end-user experience and support user adoption.
