PixelMill Delivers Intranet Branding for Northern Power as a SharePoint 2007 Feature

DAVIS, CALIFORNIA. – July 10, 2009 – Established web design firm PixelMill implemented a SharePoint 2007 intranet site for Northern Power Systems. The project entailed creating custom graphics and site layout in SharePoint to match the look and feel of Northern Power’s external corporate website.
The PixelMill SharePoint team took the existing Northern Power customer facing design and ported it to the intranet. The finished design included a custom SharePoint 2007 template that was delivered as a SharePoint Feature so that it could be applied with one click to any intranet sub-site across the company.
“We created a custom solution for Northern Power Systems so they could quickly and efficiently replace the default templates inherent in Microsoft SharePoint,” said Eric Overfield, PixelMill’s CTO. “I believe we delivered a scalable solution that our client can reuse whenever and wherever they want.”
