SPTechCon Austin: Register Today

During February 8-11, 2015, one of the largest (“Texas” sized) SharePoint conferences of the year will take place in Austin, Texas. I am of course talking about SP Tech Con Austin 2015!. This is an important time for SharePoint as the debate between on premises, cloud and hybrid continues. With a well-organized event like SP Tech Con that attracts speakers from across North America, you are guaranteed to be well-equipped with all the information you could need on SharePoint. SP TechCon Austin will feature SharePoint MVPs and expert Speakers, more than 80 classes and tutorials, as well as panels, all focused on the SharePoint information you are looking for.
PixelMill President Eric Overfield has been, once again, invited to speak at this February’s SP TechCon event. He is looking forward to giving two classes, the first for developers and power users on “Breaking Down Display Templates.” In this class. Eric will show how the SharePoint 2013 uses display templates to render data produced by the Content Search, Search Results, Refinement Web Parts and more. The second, “SharePoint 2013 Apps and I ‘MEAN’ it” is more targeted to developers focused on building feature rich web applications using the MEAN stack; a combination of MongoDB, Express, AngularJS and Node.js.
Still debating about whether or not SP Tech Con Austin is the event for you? Take a look at their site for a list of all the speakers and classes, as well as testimonials from previous SP Tech Con events. If you are ready to register for this event use the discount code “Overfield” for an additional $200 off. If you register during the early bird period (until 12/5) you can receive as much as $650 off the regular 4-day ALL-ACCESS conference pass. With a deal like that at your fingertips there is really no reason why we shouldn’t be seeing you in Austin this February.

Anyone who has 'attended' a physical meeting by 'conferencing in' in knows the frustrations & limitations that come from not being in the room. You're the voice in the ceiling & not equally represented in the conversation.

This is no longer acceptable.

Today, we find ourselves facing the “hybrid work paradox.”

Employees are keen to retain flexibility. At the same time, human-to-human collaboration remains important.

To marry the best of both, hone your strategy, spaces, & tech to suit employee needs.

It's the day of the show, y'all!

Join the #PixelMillWebinars this morning at 11am PST for a live panel discussion about what the #digitalworkspace looks like for a #hybrid team, & how #Microsoft365 can empower your users no matter where they're working.

Join the #PixelMillWebinars this Thursday as we welcome key players from @OrchestrySoft, @KieferConsult, and @AP_Mortgage to discuss the hybrid work paradox and how #Microsoft365 can empower your users no matter where they're working.

We've all been itching to get "back to normal," but what does that mean? Are we missing out on valuable lessons learned by trying to return to something that perhaps wasn't working before?

Join us next week for a live panel discussion on the new normal.
