Webinar | The Future of Intelligent Communications

Happy New Year Year everyone! We had a lot of fun in 2017 with our webinar series. We laughed! We learned! We ate chips and dip in the background while nobody was looking! It’s been a grand old time sharing knowledge with you, and we look forward to continuing to learn together in 2018. And there is A LOT to learn! Big themes this year are going to be communication and search. How will the community adjust to Skype going the way of the Dodo? With search tools changing, how will we be able to look through our libraries or fantasy football scores? And for the love of Starsky and Hutch will we ever figure out how to solve a problem like Maria?! If only there was someone or someones who could help figure out all this new information, and help us intelligently communicate to our fullest extent!!
I feel a webinar coming on.
It’s time for the next episode of the PixelMill Webinar Series! In this month’s session “The Future of Intelligent Communications”, we welcome back SharePoint wonder-twins Christian Buckley (@buckleyplanet – Microsoft MVP, Founder & CEO of CollabTalk LLC) and Eric Overfield (@ericoverfield – Microsoft MVP and Regional Director, President & Co-Founder of PixelMill) to use their combined powers to help us figure out what the heck is going on in the SharePoint world. They will probably yammer on a bit. Maybe show a graph or two. Discuss how to skype out any issues you may encounter. They will definitely share some points. But a formidable team they will be. And I thank you for joining us for this week’s edition of SharePoint Pun-ology.
Why You Should Attend
Between Microsoft’s announcement to move Skype for Business features into Microsoft Teams, and the re-branding of Delve and other machine-learning-based features under the banner of Intelligent Search & Discovery, many customers are trying to understand the impacts of these changes — and where it all fits within their broader collaboration strategy. Communication and Collaboration go hand-in-hand, and Microsoft’s road map will become more streamlined and integrated as it moves forward.
In this webinar, Christian & Eric walk through some of these recent announcements, discuss the impact of a more tightly aligned Office 365 platform, and share their thoughts on the future of collaboration and communication, including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Yammer, Skype, the Microsoft graph, and more.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join, no matter your level of participation in SharePoint & Office 365 may be. And don’t worry–while this session is an hour long, it includes a 15-minute Q&A from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM PST.
Bottom line, join us on January 25th at 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM PST and don’t miss the first PixelMill webinar of the year, sure to impact your 2018 planning!

Anyone who has 'attended' a physical meeting by 'conferencing in' in knows the frustrations & limitations that come from not being in the room. You're the voice in the ceiling & not equally represented in the conversation.

This is no longer acceptable.

Today, we find ourselves facing the “hybrid work paradox.”

Employees are keen to retain flexibility. At the same time, human-to-human collaboration remains important.

To marry the best of both, hone your strategy, spaces, & tech to suit employee needs.

It's the day of the show, y'all!

Join the #PixelMillWebinars this morning at 11am PST for a live panel discussion about what the #digitalworkspace looks like for a #hybrid team, & how #Microsoft365 can empower your users no matter where they're working.

Join the #PixelMillWebinars this Thursday as we welcome key players from @OrchestrySoft, @KieferConsult, and @AP_Mortgage to discuss the hybrid work paradox and how #Microsoft365 can empower your users no matter where they're working.

We've all been itching to get "back to normal," but what does that mean? Are we missing out on valuable lessons learned by trying to return to something that perhaps wasn't working before?

Join us next week for a live panel discussion on the new normal.
