Webinar | Microsoft Search 101 – Smarter, Better, Faster, Stronger
Being an adult is tough. We can simultaneously feel in control and under-prepared for things like doing our taxes, cooking meals, and getting our laundry out of the dryer before it wrinkles, all while pondering life’s mysteries like, what’s the Netflix password again? Where did I set my phone down? And where in the world of Carmen San Diego did I leave my car keys?
Lately, I have been contemplating how to simplify all of this, and I believe I’ve at least successfully defined the problem: Being an adult is just one giant impossible game of Where’s Waldo.
(We’ll let that sink in for a minute)
We spend a lot of our day searching for things, and sometimes it feels like we’re searching for something that may or may not actually be there (I mean, come on, how hard can it be to find this guy?!). Your workday has the potential to feel the same, and I’m sure you often wonder why you didn’t read more Sherlock Holmes books. Where is that spreadsheet? Where did you leave those TPS reports?
Wouldn’t it be swell if there was some way to improve your search abilities and go from being Alexander J. Cantfindathing to Thomas X. ProSearchman?
You know what that means…
It’s time for the next episode of the PixelMill Webinar Series! Why You Should Attend
Let’s face it, as humans we spend a lot of our day searching for things—our wallet, our glasses, our inspiration. The reality is we’re spending a lot of time searching for stuff at the ‘office’ too. Employees encounter new challenges every day, and they need to find the content and information they need to get their job done quickly, easily, and efficiently. According to a study by IDC, data professionals spend 22.2% of their workweek just searching for information. To help enterprises with this common ask, Microsoft launched its unified search experience, Microsoft Search. So what is Microsoft Search, and why should you be using it? Do you want to give your employees 22% of their day back?
Discover how your organization can utilize Microsoft Search to empower your users and increase productivity. Learn how to configure Microsoft Search with out-of-the-box customizations to effectively present the vital information your employees need so they can spend that 22% of their week on something far more productive. We’ll also touch on some customization options and showcase how you can take Microsoft Search up a notch at your organization.
While this Microsoft Search 101 session is directed toward anyone focused on how to find Waldo in a crowded Search results page (hint: he’s always by the tree!), all are encouraged to attend. And don’t worry–we leave some time for Q&A at the end.
So join us on Thursday, February 25th from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM PST. If you have questions that you want to make sure the panel gets to, send them here.
